So this year, I was shopping for cute Halloween cards. But, I couldn't find ANY I liked!
So I decided I had to make my own.
I came up with this super cute Rilakkuma pop-up card design!

I am also making personalized Halloween cards with a sticker set, Halloween confetti and a Rilakkuma polaroid from me. It is now available on my ebay shop! You can also buy the blank ones if you don't have the time/materials to make these yourself!
Here are the layouts I made for my planner for September. There are two versions--one with September and dates, and the other without. You can use it for any month you want.
This year there is a lot of really cute things in stores!! Each year I make a series of videos about back to school DIY's, fashion, lunches/bento ideas, and kawaii hauls. Here is this year's back to school haul video!
WalMart has a nice selection of sparkly notebooks and cute panda folders/notebooks. It's best to start early because the cute stuff always goes so fast.

I also spotted some very cute Japanese style erasers at Office Max! I was very surprised. See the video for the whole selection.

Hi guys! For today's video I showed you my DIY planner (see video below).
I'm including the two images you can print out if you want to use my same design. July is pretty much over so I removed the text and the dates.

I recently posted my video about the bridal shower and also about our DIY Rilakkuma invitations. (My whole kawaii wedding video playlist can be found here).
At first, I wanted to have my bridal shower at home and cook lots of fun Japanese foods and sweets. But I happened to find this amazing tea restaurant (that also serves asian cuisine!).
It was the perfect atmosphere for a cute, rilakkuma themed shower.
I decided my invitations would be using Rilakkuma Natural Time letter sets. The set is perfect because it comes with beautiful matching letter sheets with envelopes and gold seals. I wrote everything in cursive.
I custom made return address labels using a Korilakkuma image (representing myself :3 ) and I chose a cherry blossom stamp that was offered at the time at my post office. You can get more info on the DIY invites on my other blog post all about it.
I decorated with Rilakkuma bears and doilies!
The tea restaurant had a delicious fancy menu with options for all the guests to chose from when they sent back their RSVPs. I remember getting a fancy blackberry appetizer, tuna salad croissant and of course my choice of tea. (They have so many to chose from).
I bought a Tiramisu cake from Belle's bread in Columbus (SO GOOD). I decorated it with a little ReMent Rilakkuma head from the cake shop series.
I also bought macarons as well as other sweets from Pistacia Vera in Columbus. While visiting the Asian markets, I bought giant pocky and a collection of Japanese sweets to give as goodie bags.
All the flavors were so good....mocha, buckeye, lemon, raspberry, green tea...!
The second favor was a tower of cake shaped hand clothes. They have all colors and sizes available, and I got mine from Amazon. We decorated with them on tiered plates.
For little welcome signs, I made my own print outs using Rilakkuma borders and white frames from Target. And I bought the Rilakkuma with hearts plush that were released in March 2014.
I did not even consider including lolita in the event until my friends were asking me if they could dress in tea outfits and all wear hats! I was so surprised and I decided to wear my fluffy pink lolita dress. Everything came together!
I was lucky to get so many thoughtful gifts, including a sweet handwritten recipe book (in Chinese!) from Bo's mom, 2014 Rilakkumas (great to remember our big year), and tons of other fun goodies from my friends who know my interests very well. : )

It was a super fun bridal shower and if you are planning a shower I hope you incorporate your own personal interests to yours!

I thought I would make a blog post to list out some of the great tips I've learned about keeping my closet cute, organized, and smell fresh!
1. The first thing I always do is separate all of my close by type: dresses, skirts, sleeveless shirts, blouses, sweaters, and t-shirts. I have some special hangers that hold 4 skirts on one, and a scarf hanger that I use for tights. I don't have drawers right now, so I have everything hanging up. It's a great way to see everything and avoid forgetting you have something shoved in a drawer.
2. After separating, I usually place them by color, going light to dark. It makes my closet look neater and is also helpful for matching outfits.
3. Keep cute boxes you get! They are great for organizing! I am using an old aerie gift box for my bras. I also have some travel bags that I use for undies organizing.
4. Black hangers for some reason make my closet look so much better. I used to have the plastic ones, but everything just looked junkier.
5. I super love to either have my purses hanging up or placed up top like I do in this closet. It's a great place for my hats--and rilakkuma.
6. Make your closet smell nice by reusing dryer sheets and stuffing them in a cloth baggy (from craft stores). I then spray them with perfume! (I have way too much perfume lol)
I also keep the rest of my socks and knee socks in a set of plastic drawers and divide them by fabric and height. You can see in the video how I do it.
