Delivering the Gloves Theme: The Story of Koguma, PART 2 [NEW RILAKKUMA SERIES OCTOBER 2016]

Today's blog post is all about the second story of Koguma: "Delivering the Gloves" which has also inspired a new series, the Gloves Theme (or Delivering the Gloves Theme). Blog post on the goods in this theme HERE!

(see original story of Koguma here)

Below is my translation of the San-X information page about the story, and also photos used on Rilakkuma's Facebook page. They had posts of the story each evening during a week in September. I translated these day by day on my own Facebook page, too. So if you'd like to follow along when I translate their posts, please check out my page, here! : )

Below is my translation of their posts, and then some images that I translated, too! Enjoy!

Because of the popularity of Koguma, the story continues! It is a heart-warming illustrated story:

It's now become colder. Korilakkuma would like to give Koguma some handmade gloves as a gift. She decided to go to the Honey Forest alone to see Koguma.

original image at San-X FB page

Her first trip to see Koguma is exciting, but a little scary, too. Rilakkuma and Kiiroitori are secretly watching from behind. They are worried about Korilakkuma going alone.

original image at San-X FB page

The two were so happy to see each other after such a long time. Koguma was very happy to receive the handmade gloves from Korilakkuma.

original image at San-X FB page

It seems Koguma is so happy to have his first pair of gloves!
Since Korilakkuma and Koguma haven't met for a long time, they were really happy to play together!

(In photo: Kiiro says, "It's not food, Koguma!")

That night, they all ate a dinner made with fresh honey from the Honey Forest!

Tired from a long day of play together, the two went to sleep.
This is the end of this mini story. Did you enjoy it?

Kawaii Easter Haul at WalMart #KawaiiCart

Hey everyone! I'm moving my tumblr "#KawaiiCart" tag to my blog. My tumblr will still have all the photos, but this will be an easier way for you to quickly see whats out in stores. (If you didn't know this tag was where I posted pictures of really cute stuff I found in local stores!)

Today's post is all about cute Easter goods at WalMart! (See my Peeps goods post for info about finding Peeps plush!) I have been everywhere--WalMart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. These are the best things I found. Each week, the selection changes a bit. Last week there were NO Peeps plush at my CVS, but now they have them! Keep checking. But stores sell out of the cutest stuff fast, so buy before they are gone!

Let's start with WalMart! They have a really cute selection this year.

They have lots of things for under a dollar. I was tempted to get these bunny clips and sticky notes. So cute!

They have tons of cute bunnies! Some are even under a dollar! The four larger ones are $3.98. So soft and I love the colors.

If you like more of a rustic or garden theme for Easter, there are also some cute decor items too!

The shopping cart....we were having trouble deciding! Bo ended up getting a lot of bunnies! They are just too cute.

Check my post on Peeps goods to see the complete Peep selection at WalMart and other stores! They have a great selection. They also have chocolate scented plushies too.
I hope this was helpful!! More posts and videos to come soon.

Kawaii Easter Haul: Peeps!! #KawaiiCart

If you didn't hear, I'm posting my KawaiiCart tag (originally on my tumblr to share local cute things I see in stores) here on my blog! It should be easier to see everything! (But the photos will still be on my tumblr if you like that format best.)

This post is all about Peeps!!! I am obsessed with the Peeps line of plushies and goods. This year each store has a different selection of Peeps items, so let me share what stores are carrying what! I haven't spotted the original peep plush anywhere, only the bunny peep.

The photos above are from Walgreens! They have an amazing selection. So many kinds of peeps candies and tons of peeps goods. Last week the goods were 20%, so we will see what this week brings! The largest peep shown is only $9.99 regularly, so with the discount it was pretty cheap. Usually even the tiny peeps are at least $4.99! Stay tuned for my Peep Haul Video to see what I bought : o ) .

These three gift sets are from Walgreens too! Each have a set of peep candies with a choice of earbuds, plush or peep patterned socks. So cute!!

I'm afraid I didn't get a photo of the Peep selection at CVS...but it was much less. They have a bear wearing a peep onsie, and some bunny peep plushies.

My Marshalls store actually had a lot of peeps goodies. I got this peep nail polish set! It was only $4.99. Maybe your TJ Maxx or Homegoods has some too. Keep an eye out for an upcoming nail tutorial, too ; - ) I love these polishes--they work surprisingly well! I was not expecting great quality.

Now, time for WalMart! My store is getting picked over fast... but this is what I spotted. Lots of plush for $4.99 and some little mini plush gift sets.

I picked up this mini peep keychain for $2.99! They also had some cute different designs of snacks.

I was very tempted by these gift sets.. I really want the traditional peep plush...but after taking a closer look, the shape of the body didn't look very good...It didn't look really plump and cute like other ones I have seen before, not sure how else to describe it!

There are also peep tumblrs for nearly $8! :O Walgreens had some for much less, but these are filled with peep candies individually wrapped.

There are some other stores carry peep goods, such as Five Below..Here is a picture of their advertisement I took below.

Hope you guys find this post helpful! Also see my WalMart Easter finds and my Target/Dollar Tree post!

There will be more videos and posts to come. Let me know if you saw peeps at any stores I didn't mention. I just love them!

Who is KOGUMA-CHAN? Korilakkuma's New Friend -- the New Rilakkuma Character Theme

Photo from San-X (Their page here)
Koguma-chan (or Little Bear) is Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma's new friend! A entire theme is dedicated to their new found friendship.

In this post, I'll translate the latest information about Koguma-chan from San-X. If you'd like more information about the release, visit my previous post and video. (And here's my latest post about the Koguma plush and goods)

Photo from San-X (Their page here)

The photo above says:
Introduction to Korilakkuma's friend
Smells like the sweet scent of honey
Kuma-bees are Koguma's friends
Fuzzy tuft of white fur on chest
Round tummy
Sharp teeth when Koguma's mouth opens
Bear shapes on Koguma's feet

The photo above says:

Story Introduction "Korilakkuma and the New Friend" Theme

1. The Rilakkumas went to the Honey Forest because they were invited by a delicious, sweet smell.
Korilakkuma went deep in the forest and found a delicious looking honey jar. Korilakkuma reached to grab it, and suddenly, a head peaked out from behind the tree.

2. Rilakkuma was relaxing in the shade beneath a tree. It seems that Korilakkuma is bringing someone else along to see Rilakkuma.

Photo from San-X (Their page here)

3. It seems Korilakkuma made a new friend. A brown, A brown, round, honey-scented "Koguma chan" (Little Bear) was who they met. Koguma always carries a specially made honey, and seems like it matches the kind of honey both Korilakkuma and Rilakkuma like.

4. They climb the trees together, play tag, and sometimes fight for the honey.

Photo from San-X (Their page here)

5. It looks like Korilakkuma is having a lot of fun!
6. In the forest, they share the honey and happily eat together.

Go watch the new video of Koguma-chan released by San-X. It's SO CUTE!

Update 12/13/2018: Koguma is now available at my store!

Aloha Rilakkuma Collection (Hawaii Series) アロハリラックマテーマコレクション

I have really had a great summer so far but I can't believe how fast it is going by. I'm trying to cook all kinds of fun summer recipes especially with seasonal ingredients because I know fall is coming soon!
I gave my normal plush some leis to wear : )
I'm going back to school, (and probably more excited just to do office supply shopping than for school haha) are you guys going back to school too?

I saved my Rilakkuma Aloha collection videos for summertime. You can see my plush collection video here, and my stationery collection video here. I also have some decor pictures of how I'm decorating with Rilakkuma for summer on my Facebook page too.

Here's some pictures of my collection so far.

This is a picture of when I first got my normal Aloha series plush in the mail. At first I wasn't sure I would be collecting them, but once I had seen them in person I had to order them! The grass skirts are so cute.

I also got the Lawson Aloha version. I love this set so much, but it took me a while to find it at a good price. It comes with so many little details! Lawson (if you don't know) is a popular convenience store in Japan. It actually started in America...My dad used to go to Lawson when he was young and was amazed to see it when we visited Japan. Lawson often has fun collaborations with anime or Rilakkuma so they often have special Rilakkuma goods.

Kiiroitori looks so cute with his change purse sitting in the cart!

It comes with a Lawson shopping bag, cookies and coffee. Makes me want to go to the Hawaii Lawson!!

I love to put my Hawaii inspired lotions from Bath and Body works inside the cart!

I collect a lot of Rilakkuma stationery, and for this series I have all the mini memo pads. It's nice to use them in the summertime. I keep forgetting how cute the details are!

Kiiroitori's face is adorable in this one. "It's a relaxing time in the paradise. Why don't you join us?"

I wonder why they chose pancakes to go with the Aloha series? Rilakkuma loves pancakes though.

I love this pattern so much! (I'm a big fan of shaved ice or kakigori) It says "Aloha" in the first pattern. I also like the nighttime beach pattern a lot too.

Here Rilakkuma says "Hawaii is delicious, isn't it?"

I put my two folders up on the wall near my collection. I think my folders are the Lawson version.

Surprise! I found authentic Hawaii Rilakkuma fabric on Etsy. I made some curtains!

I got a coupon book in the Hawaii pattern from a Japanese magazine a while back. It has been really handy!!

I have the big Hawaii towel and also a small hand towel. They were from my good friend Isabel!! (Usagiichigo on YouTube)

So below is how I have decorated! I use the cubby shelf from IKEA on its side. I really love it for summer!!

Thought you guys may like to see my summer decor : ) I recently posted my Hawaii Aloha Rilakkuma series collection video, so you can watch that to see more of these plushies : )

Thanks for reading!! Hope to continue collecting more from this series.
